In the first quarter of 2024, India led in new downloads with 35.17 million, underscoring its significant user base in the country. In the United States, WhatsApp reached 100 million monthly active users by July 2024, with 4.88 million new downloads in Q1 2024.


In the United Kingdom, 73% of internet users aged 16 to 64 utilize WhatsApp monthly, making it the most used social media platform in that demographic.
